Saylove’s work examines creative practice as a conduit for peace transformation. Inspired by The Hip Hop Declaration of Peace, presented to the United Nations in 2001, Saylove earned an M.A. in Peace Education in 2009, producing Peace Education and the Hip Hop Generation, and Hip Hop and the Art of Peace Education, in 2011. Her performances include The Universal Zulu Nation Anniversary, The Nation of Gods and Earths Show & Prove, and The Indigenous Peoples March on D.C. in 2019. Saylove also produces The Jazz Flower with Saylove. Her survivor leadership began with an international campaign for the reduced sentencing of minor survivors in 2009. She shifted her focus to the recovery of both Missing and Murdered Relatives in 2013, and became a full-time CSEC Survivor Mentor from 2016-2025. She secured The ATLIS Fellowship—supporting the formal incorporation of Earthsaylove Foundation in 2024.

This is very special. It is so beautiful. It transends the subject matter to affirm life. It shows how a female voice is not a luxury, but an urgent need. It flows with feminine qualities, and blackness. It reflects deep truth. It is a joy to listen to & healing. Tlalegwa Ghee, A.
