WUCF Jazz Host Saylove in Conversation with Christian McBride

On December 18th, 2025, I sat down for an impromptu interview with bassist/composer, and the host of Jazz Night in America, Christian McBride! I had just wrapped up a two-week Winter Fund Drive at WUCF, was and crunched for time before the university’s break, but our guest was gracious! Learn more about his upcoming cruise this January, and more!

Wow! This is great, Saylove! Thanks for sharing.

Christian McBride is a force of nature in my book — and a down-to-earth good guy, as he comes across here. I don’t know how he does the things he does. He’s a Renaissance man.

Please follow his advice: get rid of that time conflict and get on that ship out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Imagine you and I and your wife on that ship! Wow!
