Sustaining Survivor-Led Arts Mentorship, Workshops, and Webinar Series!

Earthsaylove Foundation is a survivor-led, arts organization supporting survivors and individuals impacted by violence and exploitation, across First Nation Communities, Maine, New York, Florida, and nationally. Formally incorporated in 2024—Earthsaylove carries 17 years of community-based work supporting survivors in the system of care and in the community, through creative practice, mentorship, and advocacy. Through performances, workshops, conferences, and engagements, Earthsaylove Foundation produces poetry, art, music, somatic practices, and media as pathways for healing, education, leadership, and cultural preservation.

Since 2009, Earthsaylove’s work has been sustained with minimal funding, deep community trust, and uncompensated leadership labor. In 2024, Earthsaylove Foundation was selected for the first ATLIS Fellowship with the Administration for Children and Families Office on Trafficking In Persons (OTIP). This recognition inspired the organization’s incorporation, to amplify its reach and impact!

What Your Support Makes Possible

The fundraiser seeks to raise $150,000 to strengthen organizational capacity, sustain survivor-led programming, and expand access to arts-based services. Funds raised will support program coordination, curriculum development, our educational materials (production and distribution), speaking engagements, workshops, webinars, survivor-led facilitation, violence prevention and peace education initiatives.

“Survivors are often expected to lead transformative work without the resources necessary to sustain it,” said Earth Saylove, the founder of Earthsaylove Foundation. “This campaign is about building the infrastructure needed for survivor-led arts mentorship to continue through accessible programming, including virtual engagement and limited workshops, so that artists, educators, and communities can connect with this work in ways that are sustainable, responsive, and trauma-informed.”

One of the organization’s signature initiatives is SLAM (Survivor-Led Arts Mentorship), a program and multidisciplinary arts methodology—integrating poetry, visual art, somatic movement, music, and cultural practices. Grounded in trauma-informed and survivor-led principles, SLAM positions survivors as knowledge holders, creating opportunities for creative self-expression, leadership, and community arts engagement.

Our Impact (2009–2025)

Since 2009, Earthsaylove Foundation has supported advocacy for incarcerated survivors of GBV, and missing relatives, participated in local, national and international conferences, symposiums, and forums; mentored 180+ youth, facilitated 180+ webinars, distributed 720+ books, workbooks, journals—and developed two anti-violence curricula. This impact demonstrates what is possible when survivors are trusted as leaders, researchers, knowledge holders, artists, and storytellers!
